I love books by Missy Johnson! I love that I can start reading any of her books and by page 2, I'm hooked!

Charlotte is a college graduate and searching for a job in her field of Journalism. She applies to an ad in the paper, that she hopes will be her breakout story. She gets hired, and oh boy, does she get more than she planned!!

Jaxon had a terrible childhood. His parents and his sister were killed and that made him the detached person his is today. But, can Charlotte change the person that he is?

I loved this book! The deeper, darker the book are, the more I enjoy them! Loved Jaxon's kinky side and all his hotness! Overall, a great book!
Resist (stand-alone) opens up to college graduate Charlotte Lucas is stressing over finding a job, even after graduating top of her class with a journalism degree. A friend brings to her attention that infamous playboy Jaxon Murphy, Jax is running an advertisement for an assistant/kept woman

Resist is the perfect blend of kink, sex, mystery, suspense and romance. The ending wrapped everything up, but left me wanting an extended epilogue father into the future.

Complex and oh so swoon-worthy hero! Suspenseful and kinky plot! Excellent storytelling!

Just felt like there was a lot of build up to kind of a low class ending. Would have been better with a cliff hanger
Lame story. Lame romance. Lame character development. Lame sex scenes. Once again a girl's beauty is apparently all it takes for life to turn out great. So tiring!!! Oh and by the way you can't set off a fire alarm in a hotel by steaming up the bathroom with the shower! 🙄 Was this written by a child?? Nothing to recommend this book. Can't believe there are more!!
I never loved either character. I didn't dislike them but I don't feel there was enough character development. It also hinted that Jaxon liked unusual dark things in the bedroom but it was sort of a let down. There was a big deal made about it but he did one thing that was more weird than twisted in my opinion. It just fell a little flat for me.
Jason and Charlotte. Hmmm, I'm not sure where to start. The characters were definitely not well defined. The story was disjointed, kind of all over the place. It seems as if this story was written from notes not completely developed. It was even a good 'porno' book. The sex scenes were not hot, they were somewhat confusing. This book is going into my 'don't waste my time' reading file.
This story was fabulous I couldn't put it down kept me wanting more! A 100% incredible must read for sure!!
